Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Igneous Labs ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in our mobile applications, including Fidget Slider and any future apps we publish (collectively, "the Apps").
By using any of our Apps, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
Information We Collect
Game scores and activity
When you submit a score to our leaderboards, we store the following in Google Firestore:
- An anonymous user identifier assigned automatically by Firebase Authentication (no name or email required)
- A display name — defaults to "Anonymous" unless you choose to set one
- Your score, game mode, and play duration
- The timestamp of the submission
Analytics and crash reports
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the Apps are used and to diagnose crashes. This may include:
- In-app events (e.g. game started, game ended, mode selected)
- Session duration and frequency of use
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Crash stack traces and device state at the time of a crash
Analytics collection does not begin until you have granted consent through the in-app privacy prompt, in accordance with GDPR and CCPA requirements.
Advertising
Our Apps display ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier to serve personalised ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
If you purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase, no ads are shown and no advertising data is collected by AdMob.
Local device storage
Personal best scores are stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Purchases
In-app purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment information. We store only whether the "Remove Ads" non-consumable has been purchased, using your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
How We Use Your Information
- To operate global leaderboards and display your score alongside other players
- To analyse usage patterns and improve the Apps
- To diagnose and fix crashes
- To serve relevant advertisements (unless ads have been removed)
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party services below, each governed by their own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Auth, Firestore) — Google Privacy Policy

- Apple / Google — in-app purchase processing
Data Retention
Leaderboard scores are retained indefinitely to support all-time rankings. You may request deletion of your scores at any time by contacting us (see below). Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard Firebase retention periods (default: 14 months).
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Opt out of personalised advertising
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time (uninstalling the App stops all collection)

Children's Privacy
Our Apps are rated 4+ and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data Security
Purchase state is stored in iOS Keychain or Android Keystore — not in plain-text preferences. All data transmitted to Firebase and AdMob is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Apps after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
